Primer before Paint on Large Custom BBQ Smoker
I'm painting a large custom made smoker and was wondering if I should use the zinc dust prime before painting. What is your recommendation?
Answer: If the metal is going to be sandblasted, to prevent rust and corrosion long term Thurmalox 245 zinc dust primer should be used.

Adhesion and corrosion are both functions of surface prep.
